I started by introducing myself, then went into detail about my technical projects and how I approach problems. I was then asked coding and system design questions, which I answered clearly. Throughout the process, I made sure to show my communication skills and that I'm keen to learn. I repeated this process again.

So I had one interview that was about an hour long, and it was over video. There were two interviewers talking with me. They did ask about experience, and the whole interview was situational, like 'tell me about a time when...' questions, so you should definitely be ready for those.

Went through a certification process and then interviewed with a panel of three people. It was a laid-back, informal setting, but ultimately, I wasn't offered the position. Each panel member asked a question one after another. It's important to know about the agency and use that knowledge in your responses. Most of the questions were of the 'tell me about a time when...' variety.

The interviewers were kind of boring and just went through a list of about 20 standard questions. They seemed more interested in my coursework and my academic performance in law school, instead of my professional skills or my previous work experience. When I did answer their questions, they didn't ask any follow-up questions and it wasn't a conversation at all. The interview was about an hour long, but I felt like I didn't learn anything about the actual position or the qualifications they were looking for in a candidate, besides my GPA.
