Floater
The interview process was pretty straightforward for U GRO. After I applied, I got an email about an interview. There was just one interview, and they offered me the job right after the call. In the call, they asked me personal and situational questions about my experience with kids. It was a short and easy interview. The interviewers were really nice.
- Could you tell me about yourself?
Teacher
After submitting your resume online, there were multiple calls to confirm receipt and verify if the position was still open. They were still hiring, which is a bit of a red flag. I went through an initial interview and then a second follow-up interview. It's worth noting that the specific job you interview for might not be the one you're ultimately placed in. Before starting, there's a required orientation video series, along with clearances and a physical, though these steps don't always happen in a timely manner. Clearances can remain pending even after you've started working, which seems concerning when you're working with children.
- How do you feel about religious leaders?
- What's your take on law enforcement?
- Tell me about your aspirations.
Lead Teacher
It was a really straightforward hiring process. You'll have some general questions and then some scenario-based questions. If you do well in the interview, they'll ask you back to do a practice lesson. The practice lesson is super easy, and if you genuinely enjoy working with kids, you'll probably get the job. Just be yourself and show your passion for children.
- What are your general thoughts on daycare operations?
- How would you handle various hypothetical scenarios that might arise?
- Can you describe a situation and how you would respond?
Group Supervisor
The interview process was a two-step thing. First, I had a phone interview with HR, and then I went in for an in-person interview with the center director. They gave me a tour of the place and I met some of the staff and kids.
- What would you do if a parent is always picking up their child late, after closing time?
