Product Manager
I was really disappointed with this company's recruitment process. The application was lengthy, requiring a lot of details and a 1-minute presentation video. After submitting, I heard nothing for about a month, despite reaching out to HR for an update. Eventually, I had a 45-minute interview with a recruiter and a peer PM. Two days later, I got a rejection without any explanation. This was confusing as the interview seemed positive. I asked for feedback on what went wrong, but received no response. I expected startups to be more considerate of candidates' time and effort, but it seems they are too busy for such courtesies. The recruiter was also yawning frequently during the interview.
- How can the company ensure customers continue to use the Pro version after completing a project, especially since many clients cancel the paid subscription right after?
- The company has tried contacting customers to understand why they cancel the Pro version, but this hasn't worked. What other methods can be used to address this issue of customer churn?
- Considering direct attempts to contact customers and understand their reasons for cancellation have failed, what can be done to improve customer retention for the Pro version?

I applied through Landing.jobs and passed their initial screening. The next step was a phone chat with a really friendly recruiter from Typeform. She made me feel super comfortable; it felt more like a chat than an interview. I was told right away I'd move on to the third round, where I talked to two current Product Managers. This interview was tough but really engaging. It showed me Typeform hires passionate experts, which is a big deal for me. The final round was a conversation with their CEO, which was also a cool and pleasant talk. Overall, I was very happy with how the interviews went. Typeform made the best impression on me compared to other companies I interviewed with.

Product Manager
The interview process started with a third party company. The first step was to see if my goals matched theirs. Next, I had a chat with an HR person from Typeform to see if I was a good culture fit. After that, I was asked to do a test where I had to identify a potential feature and spec it out. Typeform decided not to move forward with me after this stage. A cool thing though was that Typeform's head of product actually reviewed my assessment and gave me feedback on it.
- Could you describe your level of involvement and influence in decision-making within your current company?
- How do you approach leading and managing teams?
- What methods do you employ to gather customer insights?
