Cashier
The interview process involved a tour of the store with the managers. It was a relaxed and stress-free experience. The managers were very laid-back. I enjoyed my time working there and would definitely suggest it to others!
- Tell me about your long-term goals.
HR Manager
I applied for a Department Lead job, but they interviewed me for an HR/assistant manager role instead. After the second interview, the district manager said the store manager would call with an offer the next week. No call came. I called weekly for three weeks until the district manager said I was the top candidate but they were still looking. A week later, I got an Indeed message on a Saturday asking if I was still interested. I said yes and could talk Monday afternoon, but no one called. Two weeks after that, I got an Indeed message saying they'd moved on. Basically, I applied for a job I was qualified for, they wanted to hire for a higher level, there was zero communication, two potential offers were dangled, then silence, and finally, I was rejected. I don't even care about not getting the job, but it's frustrating to be told to expect an offer and then wait a month only to be told they've moved on.
- How would you describe your management style?
Visual Merchandising Assistant Manager
I first connected with Tyler’s through Indeed and then got an interview. Stephen, who interviewed me, was very professional and personable. He asked questions directly related to the job. I felt he was genuinely interested in learning about me and my previous work. I'd consider interviewing for other roles at this company again.
- Can you describe how you manage stress in a retail environment?
Sales Associate
There was a group interview with 3 other candidates and two managers. It lasted about 2 1/2 hours and included skills games. I guess this is a bit unusual these days since they were hiring people to open up the new location.
- What brands are you a fan of?
- Describe a time you dealt with a customer service conflict.
- Tell us about your past experience.
