First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Tyler Technologies.
Software Engineer Intern
Had one chat with the recruiter to set up the next interview and ask about logistics. Then, I had an interview with the team manager. It involved live coding, plus talking about my past experience and projects. The manager also told me about the team's work and what the day-to-day tasks are.
- Could you reverse a string and then identify palindromes?
Software Engineer
There were 3 interviews. The first one was with HR. The second was a phone interview with a senior dev about tech knowledge. The third was a full afternoon in-house interview. It was to see if I fit the Tyler Tech developer community. Lots of technical questions, but they didn't really matter, they were more focused on how you'd contribute to the community.
- They asked many questions on the technologies used (for me, C# and SQL) and my approach to team work and solving problems.
Software Engineer
Applied online and then got a call from a recruiter who was super quick setting me up for an interview. First was a phone interview that lasted about 15-20 mins. Then there was a group interview, which was also a technical interview. They said they'd let me know next week about their decision. I'm guessing there's an onsite interview too.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What is your motivation for joining our company?
