The interview process was kinda slow, and they didn't give much feedback or communicate well. I did two video interviews, about 3 weeks apart. It took them 6 whole weeks from the first interview scheduling to finally email me that I didn't get the job. I asked for some feedback on what I could improve, and they just sent a generic email saying they picked someone else because they were a better fit, and the margin was slim. When I asked what specifically made the other candidate a better fit, they ghosted me.

I had about 5 different interviews spread out over 8 weeks, and I actually spoke with some of the same people more than once. There were some pretty long delays between answers or follow-ups, which made the whole thing feel long and like I was repeating myself. It seemed like some of the interviewers weren't really engaged and felt it was a waste of their time too. A lot of the process involved trying to guess how their business model works, even though it's not my current sector. Also, they were offering significantly less than other senior roles I was looking at, like $10k-$15k short.

Had an initial phone screen with a recruiter. Then I was invited in for interviews with 3 people, one of whom was the hiring manager. They didn't give me much detail beforehand about who I'd be meeting with. The office space was really nice, and the people there seemed genuinely happy and committed to the company and its customers. The second round of interviews was scheduled pretty quickly, in under two weeks. I met with 5 people and was asked to give an impromptu presentation. After that, I received a job offer. Once the offer letter was signed, they initiated background, reference, and drug checks, all handled by a third party, including the reference check which was done online.

It was a pretty straightforward process. I met with all the managers and then their manager too, in separate interviews. I think the key is just to be confident, know what you're good at, be likable, and know how to present yourself well professionally. I did some research on the company before, and I asked a bunch of questions about the job, the company, the vibe, how the managers work, what they liked best about the company, their own jobs, etc.
