The interview process was moderately challenging. It involved panel interviews across three rounds: the first with two interviewers, the second with four, and the third with eight people. I also had initial conversations with HR and the recruiter before receiving an offer.

So, it was like a regular interview with three technical engineers. We talked a lot about my tech skills, how I solve problems, my past projects, and my coding ability. They also had me do some live coding and gave me some technical problems to work through.

A recruiter contacted me about the role, thinking I'd be a good fit. I agreed, as I met all the qualifications. I then completed a lengthy take-home assignment. After that, I had to wait two weeks for an interview scheduled very early in the morning, which I felt went well. They did bring up an error in my take-home, but I explained it and how to correct it. Following that, they went silent. Despite me emailing three times, they eventually just said they weren't moving forward, without any explanation, which I found unprofessional.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

A recruiter from Two Six reached out to me. The role sounded really engaging, so after a brief 30-minute chat, we set up another call. This was followed by an initial phone screening with one of the Directors. Then, about a week later, we had a virtual meeting that lasted two hours. The first hour was focused on technical aspects, and the second hour involved questions from the leadership team. The final step was an in-person interview at their HQ in Arlington. This involved several hour-long sessions with different people, including peers and eventually C-suite executives. Lunch was provided, and discussions continued through lunch into the afternoon. It was a really thorough process, covering everything from high-level strategies to very specific examples.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Can you outline a 6-month strategy to meet the expected outcomes for this role?
