I went through a few interviews. There were one-on-one meetings, a phone chat, and a group interview. They wanted to learn about me and what I could bring to the team. This was a new career for me so I didn't have much experience, but I had a chance to work for the company.
- Tell me about your experience and your goals.

The interviews were a good length, and most of the questions were good. I had two interviews, each with a different department. The interviewers seemed genuinely invested in their jobs, the company, the people, and the work they were doing. Both interviews were with groups of friendly people in a relaxed setting. After the second interview, I got the impression they were just browsing rather than actively looking for new hires.
- What are your five-year career aspirations?
QA Analyst
I went through a two-interview process. First, I met with the QA director, and then I met with the company's CFO. The interviewer was racist and started talking about her mentor in a way that implied superiority over mine. When she saw me, she changed the subject and stated the position was for a senior QA analyst, even though the job description said QA analyst. She then claimed I was unqualified. It was a waste of time, and she was very pretentious and rude, which is probably why her employees always seem to be looking for new jobs.
- Can you describe situations where test automation is beneficial?
- What is your understanding of code coverage?
- What are your thoughts on the agile methodology, both its pros and cons?

The interview process gave a good feel for the company culture. It was really great and comfortable, and I could tell the interviewers knew what they were talking about and how the business worked. Some places seem to have no idea how things actually work and have very inaccurate expectations.
- What questions do you have about the job duties?
