Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at TutorABC.
English Teacher
First I did an online application, they didn't ask for any documents, CV, Certs, just name and email. Then I did a 20 Min Video/AI interview, with some very hard, slightly ridiculous grammar questions. Finally, a 15 Min "chat" with a TutorABC representative, they checked on my qualifications and employment history.
- Could you explain the reasoning behind the plural form of 'roof' being 'roofs' and not 'rooves'?

The interview process went smoothly. They explained everything clearly and gave good examples. I appreciated the open and friendly nature of the interview. I felt I gained more insights into teaching techniques and the company itself.
- Can you explain how you would approach teaching this reading material?
English Teacher
I interviewed for the Online English Teacher job at TutorABC. Phillo, the Director of Studies, gave a presentation about the company, the classes they offer, and how their online teaching platform works. Phillo was professional and friendly and answered my questions, making me feel informed and valued. It gave me a good impression of TutorABC.
