Coding Technical

So after a tough coding test on Hackerearth, they set up an onsite technical interview which was honestly pretty rough. The interviewer focused on data structures and algorithms. What was weird is they didn't even look at my resume and just kept pushing me to find better run times for my code, even when there wasn't really a better way. When I asked if there was a more efficient solution, they'd just change the subject and ask something else. The Glassdoor reviews for the Hyderabad office seem pretty spot on, I'd say.

Technical System Design

They conducted 3 interviews, and everything seemed to go well. After I repeatedly asked for feedback, they finally responded that they couldn't move forward with my application. The third interviewer, who was an architect, expected code to be written in a specific way he preferred. He was okay with the solution after we worked through an example. After thinking about it, I realized the salary was likely the reason they decided not to proceed.

Coding Technical Behavioral

The interview process involved one online assessment, followed by three technical rounds, and then an HR interview. It was a bit complex and focused on DSA questions and past experience at previous companies, with discussions on Java tech stacks. The first two rounds were strictly about data structures and algorithms, while the third round was with the engineering manager, discussing teamwork and the tech stack the team is currently using.
