Data Scientist
It was a 45-minute interview that went really well. We mostly talked about a past project I was on, so I got to explain my part, the tough technical bits, and how I fixed them. The interviewer really dug into the technical side of the project, asking lots about the setup, why I chose certain designs, and the tech I used. No actual coding was involved, so it felt more like a tech chat than a problem-solving session. It was pretty back-and-forth and chill, and I felt I explained my experience fine. All in all, it was good.
- Could you describe a project you were involved in?
Data Scientist
First, I spoke with the recruiter. Then, I had to give a presentation on some data science cases. Finally, there was a panel interview. The ML ops and ML Engineers were very good; the case and the questions were very well thought out. The recruiter, Nelson, was exceptional, and his feedback helped me improve a lot.
- I am unable to share the specific questions due to an NDA.
Data Scientist
I applied online and was contacted. I had video interviews with the only data scientist there. There was an initial background check, and then another interview where I had to present the results of my coding challenge. The questions focused on analysis and coding details. I really liked the interview process, it was very straightforward and I got feedback quickly. For me, joining a startup comes down to team fit and the business itself. For peer-to-peer car rentals, the competition is really heating up these days, so we'll see how it goes.
- What were your thoughts on the analysis part of the coding challenge?
- Can you elaborate on the specific coding details you implemented?
