It was a 3 round process. The first 2 rounds were technical interviews, one with the team lead and another with the team manager. They focused on coding and Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) skills.

It was a 3 round process. First was a technical round, then a technical/manager round, and finally an HR round. Questions in the technical rounds were based on my resume and were pretty easy. The salary offered was good compared to other companies.

The interview was about an hour long and very thorough. It became clear they were looking for a business analyst, not a technical writer, to help with early business development and project management documents, especially since they're in the early stages of a contract with CMMS. It was also obvious that regular overtime would be expected because they're short-staffed. My background is in creating user documentation and training materials. I withdrew my application because I realized it would be a poor fit for both sides. My impression is they want a business analyst but are offering a technical writer's salary. Otherwise, they seemed like a decent company; they mentioned they rarely have layoffs.

Applied through an employee referral and got a call from HR. The HR person was professional, shared details about the company, project, salary range, and benefits. Decided to proceed to a face-to-face interview after considering salary and commute. Interviewed by a panel of 3 senior project members for an hour. Had positive vibes from the team. Was asked to meet the CEO, Mr. Bangalore, afterwards. The CEO's attitude changed upon seeing I was from South Asia, showing discriminatory behavior. He questioned my salary expectations, contradicting the HR offer, and made inappropriate comments about my education (MBA) and lack of IT classes in school. This was particularly surprising as the role was for a 'Manual Tester' not requiring specialized IT skills. Despite this, I was called for a second interview the next day. I pointed out the CEO's discrimination and attempt to offer a lower salary. I withdrew my application due to this experience, finding it disrespectful and a waste of time.
