First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Turner Industries.
Systems Analyst
Interviewed years ago, they didn't hire very often. It seemed like they were figuring things out for the first time. I think I gave the impression I wasn't overly interested because I had a few irons in the fire. They were very nice and professional. It seemed like a nice place to work.

Payroll Specialist
The interviewers were really nice and the staff I interacted with before and after were very friendly. It was a conversational and professional setting with clean surroundings. I didn't need any writing materials, just myself.
- Can you tell me about one of your shortcomings?
- What do you consider an asset of yours?
Estimator
The interview was in-person and involved 4-5 people, ranging from managers to executives. It initially felt intimidating but turned out to be relaxed. They asked a few situational questions, but mostly focused on getting to know me and my past experiences.
- Could you tell me what your strongest quality is?
Pipe Fitter Helper
The interview was pretty quick, they just asked me about my past work experience and with which companies I worked. They also asked about my salary history and made sure I knew there was no per diem for my position, which I was fine with. Then they went over the benefits and estimated job completion time. Finally, they asked if I had any questions. Getting the initial processing done was quick, but the overall process took a bit longer.
- Can you tell me how long you have been working in this field?
- Could you list the companies you've worked for?
- What has been your salary history?
