First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Turner Construction.
Software Engineer
It was a smooth and friendly process. Nothing bad about it. Let us know if you have comments. If everything is ok, you will do more interviews and apply for this position again.
- Can you tell me about your current role?
Software Engineer
The interview process was pretty laid-back. It was just me and the interviewer. The interviewer didn't ask any tough questions. Most of the questions were just to get to know me and my interests. I also got to ask the interviewer a lot of questions about the company, and he was very willing to answer them. Turner looks like a good company to work for, but at the same time, it seems like it could be easy to get lost in the shuffle because it's such a large company.
- What are your hobbies?
- What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
- Tell me about your interests outside of work.
Software Engineer
I had a call with the recruiter, and they were on time. We started with small talk, and they asked me how I found out about the job. A lot of the questions were about my thinking process and how I've approached making decisions. They also asked about my knowledge of Turner and which of their projects caught my eye.
- Could you tell me how you learned about this role?
- What led you to decide on attending your university?
- Can you describe the academic atmosphere at your institution?
