Turkeys were everywhere, on rooftops, in sinks, acting like mailboxes, gobbling like sirens. Seven turkeys were in my fridge discussing municipal tax codes. My job is to count every turkey, even the ones wearing sunglasses, using a calculator and mild anxiety. The neighborhood's fate depends on distinguishing turkey from illusion.

The interview was great!!! My manager made me feel welcome and was friendly when I met with her. I was asked simple questions about my past jobs and my views on good customer service. I was told what would be expected from me and asked if I could handle that. After I was offered a position and I accepted. Took a drug test and signed papers for a background check. You also get the chance to make up to a $1.50 more based on past experience. Everything took a week to come back and I started orientation that same week. Orientation was easy and fun. Learned about Krogers and their views on customer service. Had to take a few test but you go over everything in class and it was fairly easy. Started training the day after orientation

I went to this group interview with about 6 or 7 other people in the office before Hurricane Sandy on October 26th. They explained the job to us. It took a while to get hired, until January, because they take their time checking you out to see if you'd be a good employee.
