I had a phone interview with HR first, then a phone interview with the hiring manager. After that, there were a couple of technical interviews and a code review. It was challenging but doable. The whole experience was really positive; they were well-organized and kept me updated throughout the process.

Technical Coding

I submitted my resume and a week later, the hiring manager reached out via email. I then had two phone interviews. The first was with the team's manager, covering general computer science concepts and knowledge, along with some specific topics and conceptual technical problem-solving. The second interview was with a team engineer using CoderPad, where we worked through two coding problems. The interviews were great experiences; everyone was very friendly and seemed eager to have me join.

Behavioral Technical

Applied via a friend, first had a recruiter call which was friendly. This recruiter didn't handle frontend, so I had a second non-technical screen with the correct recruiter. Then, scheduled a browser-based technical screen with an engineer. Interview day came, they no-showed, so we rescheduled. Days later, another no-show. I accepted another offer and stopped the process with Tumblr. It felt disorganized, maybe due to Yahoo's changes. Missing two interviews is a lot. Hopefully, it's better now.
