The screening was over the phone, with basic questions. My current employer called mid-interview with a job offer I'd been hoping for while I was answering a question about multitasking. I never got a rejection, which felt a bit out of the loop. A simple no would've been nice, but since I'm at a place with pension and growth, it's no big loss. Still, a no is just polite.

I applied and was immediately brought in for a typing test (WPM) the next day. The day after that, I had an interview with two managers where they decided on the spot if I was hired. The interview was pretty quick and had standard questions. The whole process has likely changed since then because management was different at the time of my interview.

I was supposed to have my interview with the IT manager, but I ended up interviewing with the staff instead. I'm not sure why that happened, and I haven't heard back from them yet. I'm still hoping they'll extend an offer.
