First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Tully Rinckey PLLC.
Attorney
I had a chat with a nice in-house recruiter, and then interviewed with a senior partner. The partner seemed to think I was interviewing for a job in White Plains in a different practice area. He asked some pretty uninspired questions and didn't really seem that enthusiastic about it. I reached out to the recruiter and backed out after that interview. The recruiter mentioned that the partners were interested in moving forward and asked if I'd reconsider.
- Are you able to commit to staying with the firm for at least five years?
Legal Administrator
I had three interviews over a month with the recruiter and management. I was excited about the role and thought I'd get an offer, but I was ghosted. The recruiter kept me waiting for over a month after my final interview and eventually said she had no direction on the role's future. I wish they'd had the courtesy to let me know one way or the other after I took time off work three times. I liked everyone I met, and the interviews were pleasant and conversational.
- How do you handle conflict and what is your management style?
N/A
I had a recruiter call first where we talked about my background, my salary expectations, and when I could start. Then I had an in-person meeting with the hiring manager. It was pretty chill, not too hard of an interview. What did kinda suck was that it took a while to hear back about my application status.
- Can you tell me about your previous work experiences?
- What's the salary range you're looking for?
- When are you available to begin working?
Associate Attorney
The interview process involved three main stages. It began with a call from the recruiter, followed by meetings with the managing partner and then the COO. They also inquired about my standing with the bar association. At the conclusion of the interview, the interviewer indicated that the next interview was being scheduled.
