Human Resources Apprentice
It was a very smooth interview. The people had nice attitudes and were very professional. I felt very comfortable with the manager and HR assistant, and they both asked me about my experience with people and why I decided to apply for this role.
- What makes you want to apply for this specific position?
Category Manager
The process started professionally, with a standard first interview with one person. This was followed by three types of online tests. Then, a second interview took place, which included a detailed presentation and an interview with three people. Two weeks after the interview, which went very well, I was told in a one-line email that they weren't proceeding with the role (or another one), after some chasing for feedback while they apparently interviewed someone else. More chasing revealed a headcount freeze, which wasn't their fault but was badly handled given the effort candidates put in.

Programmer
After submitting the application, undergoing online tests (which were very difficult), and receiving email confirmations, candidates were invited to an assessment centre. This assessment day included two group projects, a presentation about why we wanted to work for the company (a question not asked on the application), a meal, and a personal interview. During the group exercises, a company representative observed each person, and we were given two scenarios with extensive information that was impossible to read in the allotted time. The focus was on our problem-solving approach and team interaction, not the outcome, and our notes were collected. I was asked some typical questions about my CV during my presentation, but it wasn't really an interview. After the meal, some candidates were dismissed for not fitting the job profile, so I didn't get to the personal interview stage. No specific feedback was provided, with the comment that we should reflect on our mistakes. Travel expenses and accommodation were reimbursed.

Technical Coordinator
Great hiring process, they kept me updated all the time. Even though I didn't get the job, the overall experience showed me this company has a high culture. I got to see the workplace.
