Had solid zoom and phone interviews. But the follow up was really bad. I was repeatedly told that a decision would be made in another week. Meanwhile, I sent emails with questions, but never got a response. After almost three weeks with no news, I got an email saying I didn't get the job. None of my emails or phone calls were ever answered.

I applied and about a month later, the department's administrative coordinator emailed me to set up a phone screening. We talked about the job and they asked me 5 questions about my experience. A week after that, I had an in-person interview with 3 people from the department that lasted about 45 minutes. Later that same week, HR emailed me asking for 3 references and a background check, and they set up a phone chat.

HR reached out to set up an interview shortly after I submitted my application online. The first interview, lasting an hour, was with HR and went well, with standard questions. The hiring manager interview happened the same day and was okay, though the connection wasn't ideal. When I asked about what they enjoyed about their job, they mentioned the benefits. Overall, everyone I met was pleasant.
