Business Analyst
It was pretty straightforward, with two main stages separated by a couple of months. They kept in touch throughout the entire process. They did mention that they were interviewing a lot of people and not everyone would get to the second stage.
- Can you discuss your past experience?
- Describe a time you faced a challenging situation and how you managed it.
Operations Specialist
I applied online and about 2 weeks later, I got an invite to do a questionnaire. After I submitted that, I got an email to do a one-way video interview. I was busy so I waited until the next day. The next day I got an email saying the position was filled and that was it. It was confusing because I got another reminder email about the one-way video interview. I guess if you're gonna use tech for recruiting, make sure it's set up right. Maybe ditch the one-way interview for a phone screen instead.
- Tell me about the attributes you'd bring to the team.
Senior Product Manager
The interview process involved 4 interviews with seasoned employees from Point32Health/Tufts/HCHP. These included HR, the Hiring Manager, a Peer of the Hiring Manager, and the Hiring Manager's Manager (a Director). After these interviews, I was ghosted. Multiple follow-up attempts with HR yielded no response. This felt unprofessional and might be related to the upcoming merger and potential layoffs. It's been 2 months with no correspondence, and they ended up hiring someone with the same demographics as the interviewers, which makes me question their commitment to diversity. I wouldn't recommend this company; HR is unprofessional and likely preoccupied with the merger and layoffs, unable to spare a few minutes to update candidates who invested hours in the process with no outcome.
- What motivates your interest in this specific position?

The interview started with a phone call from a recruiter who was asking questions straight from a script. I was asked how to do X, and when I answered, the recruiter told me I was wrong and then read the answer engineers had written down, which was just doing the same thing but differently. The recruiter then claimed to be more technologically minded, which was odd. Later, I had a 4-hour in-person interview where I met several people. This included a test where I had to interpret graphs and what seemed like coding questions to check my understanding of the code.
- Can you explain what this provided SAS code accomplishes?
- What insights can you draw from these graphs?
- Can you explain the functionality of this code?
