Behavioral Presentation

It was a chill, friendly interview with consistent questions. A panel of five school employees asked questions one by one. They gave me a sheet with the questions and took notes on my answers. It's been a week and I haven't heard back.

The interview was a panel interview, and it felt a bit strange. I sat down, and everyone was just staring at me, ready to ask questions. There wasn't much one-on-one interaction with the panel. It was very direct.

So after the first call with the recruiter, I had a panel interview. It was a bunch of ad-hoc, kind of 'touchy-feely' questions, and my actual supervisor wasn't even there. I was interviewed by people on the team I'd be working with. They didn't ask me anything about the job itself or my experience. It was all about whether I'd fit into the department's vibe. My supervisor didn't show up, which felt weird. After I got hired, I felt kind of misled because the person who interviewed me and who I thought was my boss wasn't actually the one I ended up reporting to. Turns out I have three bosses, and four if you count the recruiting agency.

Got a call a week after applying, then they asked me to come in. I had to fill out paperwork for a drug test and background check. After that, I went into a room with three supervisors or trainers and had to answer some questions. They also gave me instructions on where to go for my DOT physical and drug test. They mentioned they'd be calling my past employers and references. Finally, there was fingerprinting and some emails from HR.
