First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at TU Darmstadt.
Student Worker
It was just one technical chat online. They mostly looked at my CV and asked me to go into more detail about my past projects, internships, and schoolwork. I had to talk about my part in those projects, the tough spots I ran into, and how I got past them. There were also a couple of general questions about working with others and what drives me. It felt pretty professional but nice, and the whole thing was really clear and organized.
- Could you walk me through one of your key projects, detailing the technical hurdles and your specific role in overcoming them?
- Can you elaborate on your responsibilities within your prior projects?
- What difficulties did you encounter in your past projects, and what were your solutions?

After a brief email exchange, I was invited to an online meeting. The two future supervisors were relaxed, in good spirits, and explained the role and tasks. After that, I should give brief feedback on whether the job would be something for me.
