Bank Teller
The interview for the TTCU bank teller position was great. Everyone was super nice and made it feel comfortable and professional. They asked good questions that let me show my strengths, and also told me more about TTCU’s values, training, and career growth. It made me feel like it would be a good place to start a career.
- Could you do a role-play as if it were real time?
- Tell me about your strengths.
- What do you know about TTCU's values?
CUAII
It was pretty straightforward. They first review applications, then I did a video interview on Teams. After that, standard background checks and screenings were done. Then it was just about following the steps they laid out.
- Describe your approach to solving a challenging problem.
Branch Teller
I really enjoyed the interview process that started with a video bio I submitted. I then got a Zoom interview invite from Jack Anthony, and we scheduled it at a time that worked for me. Mr. Anthony made me feel comfortable right away, and the questions he asked weren't the usual ones companies ask. I was able to fully and honestly express myself. I felt good at the end of the interview and hoped to get an offer.
- What distinguishes TTCU from other financial institutions?
IT Analyst
So first there was a phone screen with HR, then I had to do a pre-recorded video where I answered some technical questions for the hiring manager. The final round was supposed to be in-person but it was done over video because of Covid, and it was with the hiring manager too, covering both technical and behavioral stuff. It would have been a good experience overall, but TTCU totally ghosted me and left me hanging about the job status. They didn't tell me or, I'm guessing, other candidates what happened with the position. I really think if you interview someone, you should at least let them know where things stand. Ghosting is just plain rude, especially when there's such a big difference in power between the company and the job seeker.
- Could you explain to someone not technical the difference between HTTP and HTTPS?
- What steps would you take to append today's date to the end of a file?
- Tell me about someone in IT you look up to.
