I was first reached out to about this role through my school's job posting. Since I was in California and the school was in Arizona, the first interview was done over the phone or Skype. It covered basic fit questions and went over my resume. Having prior experience in the payments industry was apparently a plus. The second round was an in-person interview at their Tempe office. I met with the Accounting Director, CFO, Strategy Director, and Product A Director. Most of them were alumni except the accounting director. The questions focused on my previous work experience and related topics. It was a very casual and non-technical discussion, mostly to see if I was a good fit and how I would grow into the job responsibilities.

I got a call from the recruiter, went through some initial questions, and then had an in-person interview. The interviewer was pretty casual. They started by asking me to introduce myself, then gave me some details about the job. Turns out the title 'Process Improvement Analyst' wasn't quite accurate for what they actually do, which is managing the coding launch process. The interviewer didn't really ask me any specific skills questions for the role, which was a bit odd given the mismatch with the job description. They were friendly enough, but if they had been clearer from the start, it would have saved everyone some time.

Had a phone interview first. The HR person was really nice and professional. They asked me some basic questions about my work history and why I left my previous job. After that, they invited me for an in-person interview. I got an email with all the details about the interview, like where, when, and who I'd be meeting with. I went to the in-person interview, which was about an hour long and included both basic and situational questions. It felt pretty straightforward and everyone was very professional.

We had a good chat with the recruiter to set up the phone interview and then the on-site interview. It seems like a cool team to join. The interview itself was about 1 to 1.5 hours, followed by a written test that took another 1 to 1.5 hours.
