First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at TSR Consulting.
Administrative
It was a simple and straightforward interview process. They asked about past jobs and why I was interested in the company. There were 3 rounds of interviews. Everyone was kind and straightforward. I would recommend it to others.
- What did you learn from your previous job?
Communications Assistant
A recruiter from TSR, Edison NJ, cold-called me about a Communications Assistant role at e-Trade. I decided to interview with them that afternoon. I spoke with a director, and then had an in-person interview with two people. I dressed professionally and had a great attitude. The TSR recruiter never followed up with me, and was rude when I tried to reach out. I won't be working with TSR again because of their lack of follow-through.
- What makes you interested in this role?
- Tell me why you are interested in this job.
Recruiter
The interview process here was challenging and interesting. My hiring managers were really professional and clearly explained the job details and the hiring process. I got to talk about my skills, experience, and career goals. Communication with the interviewers and HR was always quick, both during and after the interview. I understood the role's responsibilities and felt comfortable with the whole thing. I'd recommend this company because of their hiring methods.
- Do you have experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)?
Instructional Designer
I was contacted via Indeed and also via text for an initial screening call with a recruiter. The call went well and I was told to expect an update within a week. When I did not hear back, I followed up via text and email, but did not receive any response back. This is very unprofessional behavior, and I hope the company does more to encourage recruiters to keep their word.
- Could you tell me about your experience in instructional design?
