First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at TSNE.
Accounting Manager
Had a phone chat with HR which went pretty well. Then I waited like two to three weeks and heard back for an in-person interview. It was a group interview with about six people. The second in-person interview was also a group one and included a presentation about change management.
- Can you describe your experience working with diverse groups of people?
Administration Assistant
We had an initial phone call to talk about the job, then we had a zoom call. They asked all situational questions, wanting examples of specific things I've done in past jobs.
- Tell me about a time you put in place a successful system at a previous job.
Administrative Position
The hiring process had a 30-minute initial phone interview, followed by a 45-minute in-person interview with three interviewers who were directly related to the role. Then there was a second in-person interview with five interviewers, lasting about 1.5 hours, which included a 45-minute written assignment. It was good that the interviewers were in related positions, like supervisors and the current job holder, because the questions felt relevant and not just a checklist. The interviews were all friendly and pleasant, and asking questions for more information was encouraged and not seen negatively. Communication was also quick and efficient between and after the interviews.
- Given a lot of requests coming in with varying urgency, how would you prioritize them?
Staff Accountant
The first interview was scheduled for a Monday, well in advance. It was a comfortable setting with two interviewers, and they asked standard questions. I had time to ask questions at the end, and their answers were very satisfying. About an hour long. I got a call for the second interview four days after the first, and it was scheduled for a week after the first. The second interview included the original two interviewers, the person I would be replacing, and two other team members. It was still very comfortable, and they asked standard questions. In both interviews, they let me do most of the talking. There was a short accounting assessment test at the end of the second interview. They requested my references the next day.
