First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at TSI.
Truck Driver
Basically, there's no real interview. You just need to get your CDL and chat with a recruiter. If they pick you, you'll go through a week of paid training that includes a driving test. They'll cover your hotel stay at a local hotel during this time.
- What's your trucking experience?
- Tell me about your work history.
Customer Service Representative
it was a very process, with professional questions about personal experience with customers, describing times with difficult customers, why you want to work for them, where you see your career, and what questions you have for them.
- Tell me about your previous customer experiences.
- Can you share an instance where you handled a challenging customer interaction?
- What motivates your interest in joining our company?
SRE Engineer
The interview process was smooth. Scenario based questions were asked and much of troubleshooting questions. The on-boarding process was also not bad. Much stuff to go through in the first few weeks. I think that's all I can remember.
- scenario based questions
- troubleshooting questions
Category Manager
There were about hour-long interviews on two separate days, each with a managing director. The interviews were always very friendly and constructive. After introducing myself and the company, the responsibilities of the open position were presented. I received a comprehensive insight into the future position, onboarding, and training. We talked extensively about compensation, although only to justify the low pay. The company provides quick feedback. Overall, the interviews did not convince me.
- Please introduce yourself, your career path, relevant experience, and qualifications. What are your career aspirations and expectations for the future?
