First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Trystar.
Intern
The interview was very friendly and laid-back, but you really need to know your stuff. They aren't hiring just anyone. They were nice and friendly, but it's best to study the industry before applying.
- What made you choose this industry?
Manufacturing Engineer
I had two interviews with the manufacturing engineering department. There were 2 interviews and 1 interview, each 30 mins, done two times. They asked questions based on my resume, mostly about the projects I did.
- What motivates you in daily life?
Engineer
The interview process was really disorganized. The initial HR screen was fine. When I got to the office, it took more than 10 minutes just to get inside, even though I was there 5 minutes early. Then, two of the six interviewers were late. After the onsite interviews, it took over two weeks to get an offer because HR and the hiring manager couldn't get on the same page. The offer was much lower than what was discussed earlier, and although HR said it was negotiable, it really wasn't. I ended up rejecting the offer because they couldn't meet the expectations that were set during the first HR call, and I felt strung along for over a month.
- Can you tell me about how you manage your work and personal life?
Engineering Designer
I had an interview with the Design team, and I got to meet the team too! They were really friendly and nice! They tested my skills with the software, and honestly, it wasn't hard. I'm not sure what else to say.
- Can you tell me why you applied for this position?
