Sales
The interview process varies depending on the specific position. For sales roles, my interview was with my direct supervisor. It was a straightforward interview, with no unexpected or hypothetical questions. We discussed my previous experience and what I expected from the business development/sales role I was applying for.
- Tell me about your previous experience relevant to this position.
- What are your expectations for this business development/sales role?
Sales Engineer
Got a message on LinkedIn and set up a call with the recruiter. When the time came, I waited around for 15 minutes, but the recruiter didn't show up or contact me to reschedule. Never heard back from them after that.

Contract Attorney
I had an initial screening call with the team, and they were really nice and knew their stuff. They seem to have a pretty large team, and they often bring on staff attorneys. They stayed in touch a lot and were super helpful even after I took the job they found for me.
- Can you tell me about your career aspirations?
Software Engineer
Standard staffing firm helped coordinate interviews with their client based on my availability. The client's technical interview was the main hurdle to assess if I met their hiring bar. After passing, I received an exploding offer, and they were not upfront about the benefits during the offer stage.
