Graphic Project Coordinator
The interview process was pretty good, and I went through five rounds with different people. We mostly talked about my previous experience, skills that fit the role, and what I expect in terms of job duties, chances to grow, and pay. It was a thorough and well-organized process.
- Would you be okay with working overlapping shifts to effectively support, coordinate, and collaborate with teams in India and the US, ensuring communication and delivery across time zones?
Producer
I had a really nice and intelligent conversation with some senior folks from India. It was a pretty good experience overall, with a few rounds. The HR person I spoke with was actually quite pleasant, which was a nice surprise.
- What is your expected total compensation?
Quality Assurance Engineer
Applied through the company page and got an email from a recruiter at TMB. They set up a call and I talked to the recruiter for about 15 mins. They wanted to speed things up, with the other interviews finishing in 3 weeks. My first, second, and third rounds were within a month, then they ghosted me for 2 months saying the hiring technical person was on leave. Finally, after 3 months, they had my final round, and then ghosted me again for another month. I reached out to the recruiter multiple times to stay in touch but got no reply. No rejection email, no process update, and zero communication. They just waste candidates' time and give false hope.
- Can you describe the different types of testing?
Executive Producer
I got a call for a 30 min prescreen chat before graduating to a more detailed discussion a week later. The follow up conversation went well, leading to a "case study" assignment where I had to pitch a few concepts to them (ideas they can use now, no matter if I get hired or not). After I sent my stuff on time, they didn't even confirm they got my case study. I had to follow up via email to get that confirmation. A few days later, they hit me with a surprise request for a call with leadership that same day, no heads up. Since I was super keen on the job, I made myself available. The call was 2 hours long. They walked me through all their brands, and we had a big talk about the role. Because I was more than qualified, I was happy to accept their invite to move on to about 4 more interviews with different company leaders. All the interviews were generally good experiences. In total, I gave TMB 5 hours of interview time plus an extra hour of concept work. Some folks even made me feel like I was a lock for the job. A week later, I sent a follow up email. No response. 3 days later, I sent another one. Still nothing. A week after that, I sent another follow up straight to one of the leaders I talked to. Nope. Reply. 2 days later, I got an automated email saying the job was filled. I emailed HR and leadership one last time to say I respected their choice and that I'd love to be considered for the lower-level roles to help join a great team and grow in the company. A week after THAT, they finally replied, saying they were waiting to fill the other role and would loop me in once the new EP was set up. Instead, I got another automated email telling me that other position was also filled. Another FULL week later. Everyone I chatted with was friendly, like most people in corporate media production. But they didn't value my time and even tried to pacify me with false hope, keeping me optimistic and waiting for over a month.
- Would you be okay with working on a much smaller scale than you're accustomed to?
