I applied online, and then a recruiter called me for a quick screen. They asked me some basic stuff about my resume and my past jobs. They said they'd pass my info to the hiring manager and let me know if I was moving on. I never heard back from the recruiter, and they didn't reply to my follow-up email.

The hiring process was quick, and everyone I interacted with, from recruiters to HR, was really nice and helpful. They asked some thought-provoking questions. It started with a phone screening by a recruiter, followed by a virtual interview with the hiring manager for the regions. All the people were very approachable and easy to chat with!

The interview process was good, but took up a lot of my time. I had 4 interviews in 2 weeks. I thought I had the job for sure, but after the director interview, I heard nothing back - no call, no email, no text. I was ghosted. I sent thank you notes and followed up, but still nothing. I eventually called and the TA said they thought I didn't realize how much background work was involved. Any trainer knows you'll spend more time developing curriculum than actually teaching it. I felt it was rude, especially after I took so much time off from my current job for the interviews and had to make up lost work time, that I at least deserved an email.

I found the job posting on craigslist and sent in my info. They called me the next day to schedule an interview at the branch. A few days after that, I went in for what felt more like a chat than a formal interview. We talked about the customers, what skills are important, and other regular interview stuff. It lasted about an hour. I heard back within a day or two and got the job. All training happens at Truliant HQ in Winston-Salem, NC, and it lasts a week. Being able to make it to training is a must to even be considered, and they actually cover your food, lodging, and travel costs through reimbursement.
