The interview process was great and I met interesting people from around the agency. They were friendly and inviting and respectful of my time. I enjoyed my time and am thankful for the lessons I learned from industry professionals.

This was a super long process, like over 4 months from when I applied until I last spoke with them. The video interview part was kinda awkward, but I got through it. It took ages to hear back, but eventually I got set up for an in person interview. They only gave me one date/time option. I felt pretty good about it though, like I really clicked with the interviewers. About two weeks later, they asked me to do some free work, which they called a "design test." I'm just gonna say it like it is - I really doubt they make people in other departments do this, but it seems like the standard for graphic designers now. I don't mind doing a "test" if it's a reasonable amount of work, but this one? I had two days to whip up a direct mail campaign AND a second version. That's a ton of free work! I kinda lost some respect then, but I liked the people and the place, so I did it. I actually ended up taking another job (where the whole interview/offer thing took less than two weeks and no free work involved!) and let them know I took another position and wished them luck. They didn't even bother to reply! Not even a "not a good fit." It really doesn't take much effort to send a quick email after two interviews and free work, but they just decided to hire someone else and ghost me. Seriously disappointed in how unprofessional that was.

Applied online, then got an email a few weeks later for a video interview. It took two months to hear back, but then I was asked to come in for an in-person interview. The HR director dictated the date and time, and I had to let her know immediately if it didn't work. I couldn't make it, so she gave me the last interview slot available. This whole scheduling thing left a bad impression. The on-site interview itself was a bit chaotic, as I didn't know who I was meeting until I got there. Part of the interview was in person with a group, and the other part was via Skype with someone remote. Everyone was pleasant, and the conversations were good, but the lack of structure was confusing. There was no follow-up, and I'm not sure if they've hired anyone yet. It's a very slow process, so make sure you know what you want before starting.

I sent in my application online and heard back from HR for an interview in less than two weeks. The first interview was just me and a director. A few days later, I got a call back for a second interview with three people from the creative team, one of whom was the creative director for this job. Both chats were under an hour and covered typical questions about my background in the field. I got the offer the next day.
