They reached out quickly and scheduled an interview. The people there were really nice. I had an in-person interview with one person, and two other people joined via video call. They were very focused on the customer and wanted to ensure I'd be a good cultural fit.

I was contacted by phone by a recruiter and offered an opportunity to come and meet in person. I was told I would be meeting with two people and was asked to reschedule so that both managers could be in attendance to the interview. When I arrived at the interview, I was told that the manager for the position was out of the country and that I would only be interviewing solely with them. After every question they would look at the clock as if they had somewhere else to be or were pressed for time. I asked what the timeline on fulfilling this position would be and was told in a very condescending tone they would fill it once they found the right person. The interview ended with no expectation of what would happen next. I followed up with an email to thank the recruiter who initially called me, and I never received a response. I followed up with an email to thank the interviewer and never received a response. I understand timing and right fit are everything to ensure you are making the right selection, but I never felt like I had a chance with this interviewer. Two suggestions I would have for your team is put the HUMAN back in Human Resources, and a reply to the talent even if it is with a decline letter would be better than nothing. A complete waste of time!

I applied and was contacted by a recruiter. The first interview was a phone screen with the hiring manager and another IT person. We discussed the team's needs and what they expect from a new hire in the first six months, though some teams don't give clear details. After being told I was selected, I went onsite and met with HR. She had me watch a company video, a mandatory step for all candidates. Then, I answered STAR method questions and discussed my salary expectations. Following that, I went to a conference room for more STAR questions with the Sr. Lead, IT Manager, Sr. Manager, and PM. They also asked other questions while taking notes. The questions covered problem-solving in a team, past mistakes, handling disagreements with colleagues, contributions to team solutions, how my boss sees me, and what I prepared that wasn't asked. They also asked what questions I had for them. They mentioned a dress code of wearing a tie daily and noted that their benefits are not as good as some Asian companies, with payments delayed by 2-3 months.

You get one face-to-face interview, and if you're lucky, a second one after that. After the interviews, there's a drug screen and a physical. The interviewers were pretty nice, but the interviews were long and they asked a lot about previous work history. They go over benefits in the second interview, which was nice to know up front.
