It was a pretty standard interview process. They asked some basic questions and gave me some useful feedback. I did ask about staffing turnover, but they didn't have as much detail on that as I was hoping for.

The interview process seems to be the first step, a recruiter call. They are assessing what resources the team is using to recruit and what they are looking for in terms of qualities for the role. They also want to understand what the candidate can bring that the job description might not convey. A key point is understanding who makes the final offer and the overall structure of the interview process from beginning to end, checking if it's a thoughtful and teachable approach.

We had a few rounds. First, two technical rounds, then a round with the manager where we discussed projects I worked on. We also talked about stored procedures and functions. It was recommended to go over design patterns like IDisposable for Garbage Collection, and others like factory and singleton. An overview of MVC Pattern was also covered. Lastly, basic knowledge of memory management (heap and stack), CLR, JIT, Server Controls, Boxing, Unboxing, and casting was tested.

The interviews were friendly, conversational, and concise. The first step was a phone screen with the recruiter, and the second was an interview with the client, after getting advice from the staffers. They gave feedback on both.
