The interview process was quick and simple. I met with a manager inside the store to chat through the expectations and set up my training dates. We discussed any questions I had about the job and briefly reviewed my customer service experiences.
- How would your friends describe you?

I sent in my application online and then I got a call for an interview about three days later. The manager wanted me there at 1 PM, so I showed up a little early at 12:45 PM. I had to fill out a paper application and then wait until 1:30 PM for the manager to finally interview me. There were three other people who were also told to be there at 1 PM. I had another interview scheduled for 2 PM, so I was about to leave when she finally called me over to a table for my interview. After I mentioned I was looking for a job that paid more than my last one ($7.25/hr), she told me that's the starting pay, even though the online listing said $8.00/hr. She didn't say anything else after that, so I basically told her I had to go. It was a really weird and rushed experience. I guess they shouldn't schedule interviews during the lunch rush.
- Can you tell me a little bit about yourself?
- What makes you want to work here?
- What kind of salary are you looking for?

The interview process was pretty laid-back. I was asked about my past customer service experience, how I deal with tough situations, and my availability. It felt friendly and conversational. The manager was professional but easy to talk to, which made the whole thing comfortable.
- How would you deal with a customer who is upset?
