The entire interview process spanned about six weeks. About three weeks after I applied, I had an initial HR interview. Following that, I was given a substantial case study to complete, typically with a one-week deadline. I dedicated a good amount of time to this case study. After they reviewed my submission for about a week and a half, I was invited to interview with the tech lead. We discussed the case study and some theoretical concepts for an hour. About a week after the tech interview, I received a rejection with a generic, impersonal message. After investing nearly a month in this process, getting such feedback was really disheartening.

I applied online and had to answer some questions on video. First, there was a 30-minute recruiter call, followed by a take-home assignment that took a week to complete. Then, I had a 1-hour technical interview and finally a stakeholder interview. I didn't pass the technical interview stage, but the recruiter, Charlotte, was great – very responsive and helpful. The take-home task was enjoyable and had clear instructions. I received good feedback throughout. The technical interview was tough, especially the business questions since I hadn't worked in advertising before. However, the interviewers were professional and helped me answer them. The SQL part was standard, and the interviewer was really nice. I made some errors, so I wasn't surprised not to move forward. Charlotte provided detailed feedback, highlighting what I missed and what I did well. Overall, it was a positive experience, and I'd apply again.

I had a really good experience interviewing for this position, the chats I had with the panel and HR were great and I learned a ton about the company. However, things took a turn after the final interview. Two days before, HR called me about an 'additional' round which I agreed to. Then, silence for three weeks! I kept reaching out to HR weekly, getting excuses like the hiring manager was on vacation or they were still interviewing other candidates. Waiting this long for feedback after a final interview felt unfair. After two weeks, I felt like I was put on hold. Three weeks later, I got an email saying they hired someone else because my statistics knowledge wasn't up to par and I needed more training. While disappointing, I accepted it. But I want others to judge how a company can take three weeks to come up with feedback that should be obvious during the interview itself. This makes me question decision-making processes here. I hope they don't waste candidates' time like this, especially at the final stages. Two days after hearing back, the role is still listed as active.
