First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Triumphant Marketing.
Sales and Marketing Associate
The interview went well, it was pretty simple and smooth. I only spoke with one person who was very upfront with me. It just wasn't the right position for me.
- Can you tell me about your experience with elevator pitches and public speaking, and how you've developed those skills?
Sales Representative
The HR manager Jamie got in touch and invited me for an interview. She asked me to wear business professional attire and bring a resume. She even helped me when I had trouble finding the office, and when I got there, she offered me a coffee or water and told me the hiring manager Eric would be with me shortly. Eric and a manager in training took me back for my interview, and before we started asking questions, I told them about a previous bad experience with another firm where I wasn't paid, it was door-to-door, and I definitely wouldn't be interested in that. They told me I'd get a guaranteed base pay every week and would never do door-to-door, and I was immediately excited to learn more.
- If hired, what skills or value would you contribute?
- Are you interested in a door-to-door sales position?
- Are you seeking a position with a guaranteed weekly base salary?
Management Trainee
First, you'll have some qualifying questions about your career aspirations. Then, we'll discuss what we offer. It's not super tough, but we really want to see your enthusiasm and drive, and what gets you motivated to achieve your goals. We also like to see that you can be yourself and connect with people naturally.
- How would you handle a controversial situation?
Brand Marketing Manager
I sent in my application via Linkedin and got a reply pretty fast. A few days later I had my first interview. I met with the hiring manager and it was more of a casual chat to get to know me. We talked about my background and my reasons for wanting to leave my last job. He also shared some company objectives and what they are looking for in a candidate. After that, a few days later, I had another interview where they really drilled down on my marketing knowledge, my communication skills, and my management capabilities.
- What are your career aspirations for the next 3-5 years?
- What makes you a suitable candidate for our company?
- Can you discuss your previous work experience?
