First, you have to apply online on the TIME website for the position you want. Then, after a few weeks, you will be called for a written test on the subject you applied for (50 questions, 1 hour). After that, you will have to fill out some questionnaires about your education, experience, and background. Make sure to bring your CV, a pen, and a photograph. If you pass the written test, after a month, you'll need to give a 20-minute demo on a topic you like. They'll check your presentation skills, vocabulary, and knowledge, and ask only a few questions. If you are successful, after 1-2 weeks, you'll have an interview with the CEO, which is more of a discussion than an interview. If the CEO is happy, HR will send you an offer letter in 2-3 days, and they will also reimburse your first-class monthly railway fare.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • The written test includes mainly basic questions from Class 11 and Class 12, such as Metallurgy, Atomic structure, and Organic Chemistry.
  • During the CEO discussion, you will be asked about your qualifications, experience, teaching background, and the activities you can undertake.

The interview process started with a written exam that was pretty challenging, like IIT JEE level questions. I had only one hour to complete it. After the exam, there was a detailed interview focusing on the questions I got wrong, and I had to explain my reasoning. The final part involved giving a demo class where I had to teach for a full hour, pretending the professors were young students.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • Give a demo class.
  • During the demo class, I was asked difficult physics questions at the HC Verma Level.
  • The questions during the demo class were mostly about Classical Physics, not Modern Physics.

After a written test, there was a demo. The interviewer was really helpful and encouraged me when I was nervous initially. There were a lot of Aptitude questions, and the level was medium. The salary should be improved for CAT faculties, which is one drawback. Otherwise, it is a decent organization to work in. The questions will be from Aptitude. I realized I am writing a review here instead of an interview experience, but that is fine.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • A lot of Aptitude questions were asked, and the difficulty level was medium.

They started with a written test covering key subjects like arithmetic, geometry, and time speed distance. It felt pretty easy, similar to the CAT exam. After that, there was a demo class to check out my teaching and communication skills.

Confirmed questions4 questions
  • What's your strategy for handling average students?
  • Would you be open to providing extra classes for students who are struggling?
  • Which part of quantitative aptitude do you enjoy the most?
