Reached out to the recruiter on Indeed. Had 4 online interviews where they asked about my previous experience and how it applies to this role. I spoke with the director, hiring manager, and recruiter. It was a straightforward process.

Behavioral

I had a phone interview and then an in-person interview about two weeks later. It was a pretty low-stress and positive experience, and I felt like I was a top pick. But, I had to email them a few times to find out they decided to rehire someone who used to work there. You might want to be careful applying.

Behavioral Case Other

The in-person introductory meeting was really nice and friendly. Right after that, I was asked to do a trial work period (about 4 hours working with an experienced colleague). I was expecting a trial work period at some point, but I wish I had been told beforehand that it would happen that same day, because it's not a given that one has several hours spontaneously available on a particular day and wants to do a trial work period unprepared. The work itself went well; everything was explained to me, and the staff seemed very competent and customer-focused. On a different day, there was a phone call with the head of the store manager, who asked me various questions. Later, I received positive feedback (about the trial work and the phone call) and a job offer.

Technical Behavioral

Had a phone interview that lasted about 30 minutes. It covered both technical and behavioral topics. The Hiring Manager mentioned the next step would either be another phone interview or a plant visit. About two months later, I got the offer with a really short start date. I tried to negotiate the start date because they weren't offering any relocation assistance (which was non-negotiable), and they wouldn't let me start two weeks later. I ended up declining the offer because it showed me how inflexible the company is with its employees.

  • Tell me about a time you had to work with people who had different opinions than yours.
