Software Engineer
The interview process was pretty standard and wrapped up in about two weeks. I had a phone chat with HR that wasn't technical, then a call with the hiring manager that covered both technical and behavioral stuff, followed by an interview with three software engineers that was technical. Everyone I talked to was really nice and helpful. The last interview had some random trivia questions about programming, and then a coding challenge. Even though three engineers were there for the last interview, only one of them did most of the talking. They told me I didn't get the job pretty fast, but they didn't give me any specific feedback.
- Random trivia questions about programming languages.
- A coding challenge.
Software Engineer
The interview process started with a phone screen with a Talent Acquisition Specialist, followed by a technical phone interview with the hiring manager. The in-person interviews were surprisingly unorganized, with the interviewers seeming unprepared despite their experience. There were technical difficulties with the coding test setup, and the interviewers appeared disengaged, showing little interest in my thought process or suitability for the role. A final brief interview with the hiring manager focused on getting to know me better.
- Could you answer some basic .NET questions?
- Can you tell me about your previous jobs and positions?
Software Engineer
So this was for Tiburon, which is part of Tritech. I talked to the Programming Manager and two tech leads. We were in an office, and they asked me some basic C stuff. It wasn't super deep because it was an entry level role, and apparently lots of people graduating these days don't know C. Tiburon really cares about whether you'd fit in and if you have basic C knowledge.
- What character signifies the end of a string in C programming?
