I applied and within the same week, I had my first interview with the Manager. The next week, I had a second interview that involved a really cool case study where they gave me tasks and I presented them to two managers. My third interview was with the VP. The whole thing was super stimulating, and I could totally feel the company culture and people's values. HR got back to me quickly with feedback, which was great from a candidate's viewpoint. I got an offer within 15 days and accepted it happily. It's been an amazing journey, and I met some super smart, kind, and awesome people.

I went through the first two stages of the interview process. First, I interviewed with the Talent Acquisition Manager, then with the Team Leader for the London offices. The whole process was really fast. I applied on the weekend and heard back on Monday. My first interview was on Wednesday and the second on Thursday. Both interviews went well, and it felt like they were assessing my skills, personality, and how well I'd fit into the role. The hiring manager was great – she checked in on me before I met with the Team Leader and was super accessible. The Team Leader was also really nice and professional. I actually enjoyed this interview process. I didn't move on to the next stages because my profile was a bit too junior for the role, given the requirement for a big portfolio of high-profile clients, which I think is fair. They sent me a really thoughtful and genuine message explaining why my profile wasn't the right fit for this particular role.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • The interview with the hiring manager is really about your personality and why you want this job.
  • The chat is pretty informal and light, but still very professional.
  • The second interview with the Team Leader focuses more on the skills you have, the challenges you'd face, and how well you can do the job.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

It was a total waste of time, taking over a month. An internal recruiter reached out on LinkedIn. I have 5 years of experience in this field. The process had four stages: HR screening, a Skype interview with the manager, an on-site presentation/role play with two team members, and an on-site interview with one of the co-founders. I got positive feedback from the recruiter after all stages. The first interview and the role play were straightforward, asking about my understanding of the role, work history, and industry knowledge. The co-founder interview was tougher, as she assessed my skills and fit. Then, the HR person told me they wanted to make an offer and asked about salary expectations, which were much lower than the market rate and close to my current salary, despite being previously communicated. Later, I got an email saying the new London manager wanted to chat informally. The call happened the next day. A week later, I heard back – everyone liked me, but my salary expectations were deemed too high for my experience. They likely found someone willing to accept less, without even making a counter-offer. The salary for the role later appeared on Glassdoor, showing it was 27k below the London average.
