Sales
The interview process was unusual. They asked a lot of really specific questions about my previous company and hardly anything about my overall experience. I didn't get to talk about my other roles because they were intensely focused on how my former company operates. It felt pretty awkward, especially since my former company was kind of a competitor. I was also asked beforehand to prepare a mock pitch, which I put a lot of effort into, only to not be asked to do it at all. Then, I got an automated rejection email at 6 am the next Saturday. It all felt really sketchy. I wouldn't suggest interviewing here if you work for a competitor; they might just be using these calls to collect info.
- Can you explain how *former company* handles the distribution of inbound leads?
- How does the company go about prospecting and collecting data on potential customers?
- Tell me about the company's product offerings and agreements.
Sales Development Representative
It was a pretty standard interview process. First, there was a phone interview, then an in-person interview, and finally an interview with their executive staff. They were really responsive and communicative the whole time and were professional and accommodating.
- What makes you want to work for a tech company?
Product Marketing Manager
I had 6 interviews total. One recruiter, one HR, hiring manager, VP of Product, a Marketing Director, and the CEO. I loved the marketing team. They were very down-to-earth and eased my concerns about some of the reviews here on Glassdoor. I really appreciated their honesty, and felt like they treated me like a human. At the end of the day, the CEO didn't seem to be interested in my experience, but besides that last interview, my experience was very positive.
- Can you tell me about your experience in developing a Go-To-Market plan?

The interview process at this small company was pretty relaxed. It started with a phone interview, followed by an in-person meeting with every team member for a 1:1 chat. It was a bit concerning that many current employees mentioned getting hired because they knew the owner, and they don't typically recruit externally. I'd suggest taking online reviews with a grain of salt, as this is a very small business but has a disproportionately high number of reviews, suggesting employees might have been encouraged to write them. The office is in a small, quiet town, but the building is modern and has dogs, which was a nice touch. Everyone I met was friendly, and overall, it was a positive interview experience.
