Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at TripleLift.
Software Engineer
After I applied online, a recruiter reached out to me. Then, I got a coding challenge to do. The next day after I finished the challenge, they invited me for an in-person interview. The interview lasted 3 hours. I met with different people or pairs of people for 30 minutes each. Some of them asked me about my previous projects and experience, while others asked me technical questions and to solve a coding problem.
- Tell me about projects you have worked on.
- Describe your past experience.
- Answer technical questions and write code to solve a problem.
Software Engineer
There were three rounds in total. The first was a phone interview, and the second was a technical onsite interview. The last round was with the CEO. The first two rounds were okay, but the final round with the CEO felt strange because he asked me about technologies I'm familiar with, even though he didn't seem to grasp them.
- Could you explain merge sort?
- Can you implement merge sort?
Software Engineer Intern
after i applied online through my college portal, they emailed me. then i had to do a backend software challenge to test my coding abilities.
- Did you complete a backend software challenge?
