I was first emailed by the recruiter to set up an interview. Then I had a 1 hour 15 minute interview. My interviewer was really nice and knew their stuff. After that, I had a 30 minute zoom call and they offered me the job.

Behavioral Technical

I chatted with the product manager I'd be reporting to. They asked me to expand on my resume, my background, and what interests me as an intern. I got to ask a lot of questions about the company, work schedule, pay, and the project team. Then, I had a quick chat with the lead engineer about my technical abilities and experience. I got an offer a few days later.

Behavioral Technical

I was contacted by a recruiter for what I thought was a paralegal role, but it turned out to be a paralegal and office manager position. This dual nature wasn't clear from the initial job description. I then had an interview with an executive. The interviews were pretty standard, but after the second round, I was told I'd be contacted for next steps and never heard back. It seems like a good company, but they should be upfront about the full scope of their job postings.

First up was a phone interview with the VP of Engineering. He hit me with a bunch of questions on core engineering stuff like heat transfer, mechanics of materials, forces/FBDs, and thermodynamics. Then, I had an in-person interview with the VP of Engineering and one of the company founders. It felt like a test again, asking me to solve a few problems on the whiteboard. I really didn't think I did well, but surprisingly, I got the offer.

  • Could you answer some questions about general engineering fundamentals, such as heat transfer, mechanics of materials, forces and FBDs, and thermodynamics?
