First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Trinity Solar.
Solar Sales Representative
The whole process was pretty smooth and informative, from the first call all the way through to the in-person interview and getting the offer. It all flowed well, the team was professional, and the job seemed like a really good fit.
- Can you describe how you manage sales objections?
- What's your strategy for overcoming challenges and making sure customers trust the product and service?
Sales Representative
The interview felt more like they were trying to sell me on the job. Since it was a fully commissioned role, they were really pushing the job itself and how much money I could make. It wasn't a very personal interview because they seemed impatient when I asked about the day-to-day lifestyle. They were really looking for people who wanted to make a ton of money or thought they could, and I didn't like their greedy attitude.
- Are you driven by the desire to earn significant income?
Technology Trainee
So I had a couple of video calls at first, and then they invited me to come into the office for this candidate session. It was me and 23 other people all going for just 5 trainee spots. We did a written test, then a group debate, and finally, we all had one-on-one interviews. This whole thing lasted for three hours. They told us we'd hear back within the week because they wanted to get someone started ASAP, and they promised not to ghost us. A week went by, then two, still nothing. I sent a bunch of follow-up emails and got zero response. It's been three weeks now and I still don't know if I got the job or not, which is really unprofessional, especially since I came in for that three-hour session. This job market is tough enough for entry-level folks, the least they can do is let us know.
- Can you tell me about a weakness you have?
Project Manager
The interview process felt comfortable and was pretty straightforward. Onboarding has been a bit of a challenge though because most of the leadership is out in the field and only really interacts when they're in the office. The company is growing, but the field leadership team is still pretty new to their positions.
- Have you spent time working in the field independently?
