First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Trinity International University.
Recruiter
The interview process was pretty basic. I went through three interviews in total. They weren't trying to trick me with questions, just wanted to see if I was a good fit. Part of it involved some role-playing, as the job needs someone good with meeting people. There was also a religious angle to some questions since it's a Christian school.
- What do you currently know about the programs offered at TIU?
Admissions Counselor
I had a virtual interview with the Director and Assistant Director of Admissions. It wasn't super formal. I got two calls; one had more questions, and the other was a verbal offer. A few weeks later, I got an offer. The offer was in an email, a three-sentence all-caps message stating the salary. I was on furlough, so I decided to give it a shot, which was a mistake. The job is now posted for less.

Admissions
It was a really fast and straightforward process. Started with a 30-minute phone interview, then I went in for a one-on-one meeting. They extended an offer a few days after the one-on-one. It wasn't a very difficult process.
- Can you share an instance where you faced challenges and managed to overcome them?
Professor
The interview was good, not too challenging. They were looking for faculty for an undergraduate class and asked about my experience.
- Can you share your teaching experience?
