Data Scientist
The interview was friendly and professional. The interviewer seemed interested in my background and asked about my work history and education. I felt comfortable throughout. Afterward, I was asked to sign up on their internal job platform and was told they'd contact me about the next steps. I'm still waiting to hear back from the company.

Human Resources Director
Got contacted by a recruiter pretty fast. They weren't super knowledgeable about what the job really entailed. And then, nothing. No follow-up at all, not even to say I wasn't moving forward. Found out through a colleague's LinkedIn post that the role had already been filled.

Legal Executive Assistant
I was contacted on Oct 23, 2016 because they needed to fill the position urgently. By Oct 25, 2016 I had an in-person interview. It was short notice but I rearranged my schedule and made it happen because I felt it was a great opportunity that matched my interest and experience. I was very excited about the possibility to contribute to the legal department and it seemed to be a nice environment. Unfortunately, although I followed up with the recruiter, I never received a declination letter, or a response to my email or phone call. Very disappointing! I held this company in high regard and thought of them as an industry leader, assumed the people would be professional. They are very particular about the people, the dress-code, the look and the demeanor of those who sit on that floor - I gathered the feeling that I didn't "fit in".

Master Scheduler
So I had a phone interview, then two more interviews, and a plant tour with the Plant Manager and HR Manager. They had me do a drug test and background check, then they called and asked me to set up orientation for Monday. The thing is, they kept saying I'd get a formal written offer before orientation with my starting salary and benefits, but it never came. So I told them I wasn't going to orientation without an offer. They said they'd see where corporate was on the offer and get back to me. A week went by and I haven't heard anything. Honestly, I wouldn't take the job now even if they offered double what I'm looking for. It's a shame because the people I met were great, but the top management at the home office just doesn't communicate well with the plants, leading to a lot of chaos. It felt like that might be a trend since most people I met hadn't been there long. It was weird that the recruiter from the home office asked me to report back to her on how the interview went. The Plant Manager said it was fine, but it all just felt unprofessional and odd.
