Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Trimont.
Financial Analyst
The people I interacted with were nice, but the entire process lacked transparency. I was ghosted after the final interview, even though they said I was a final candidate. It was really unprofessional, and I can't say enough bad things about the company. Candidates are people, and they deserve respect and consideration.
- Basic behavioral questions.
- What is your experience with Excel?
Financial Analyst
It started with a screening call, followed by a first round interview with the team, and then another interview with team members. The whole thing took about 3-4 weeks from start to offer. They seemed really interested in why I wanted to work in this industry, and the questions weren't technical at all.
- Can you share an instance of a challenge you encountered and how you navigated through it?
Financial Analyst
The interview process was quite thorough, involving two 30-minute panels. One panel focused on technical aspects, while the other was behavioral. The hiring managers and team leads were approachable and transparent about their expectations, allowing ample opportunity to discuss qualifications and motivations for joining the company. It was evident they are looking for candidates they can retain long-term.
- What draws you to a career in real estate analysis?
- Could you describe how your real estate classes are instructing you on creating valuations for residential or commercial properties?
