Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Trimont.
Analyst
I applied online and heard back for an interview in about a week. The first round had 3 interviewers, including a senior director. It was mostly behavioral questions with some out-of-the-box thinking questions. I got invited to a second round interview about 2 weeks after the first. This round involved interviews with multiple people, including asset managers, and covered similar behavioral questions along with some technical ones.
- Nothing unusual.
Analyst
The interviews were pretty straight forward. I started the interview process as an undergrad with an on-campus interview with 2 employees. It was more informational than anything and gave me a good idea of what exactly the company does. It was also a "get to know you" type of interview. I was called in to interview in their offices the next week. I went through 3 interviews with anywhere from 2 to 5 people. The questions they asked were behavioral in nature but were very in-depth. Everyone was extremely nice and made the interview process much more comfortable.
- Why did you choose this company and this industry?
- Can you share an instance of a conflict you faced and how you resolved it?
Analyst
It was a really chill interview process. Everyone was nice. They mostly asked common questions, and there were no technical questions at the time. Just preparing some behavioral answers would be enough.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Why are you interested in this company?
- What attracts you to the real estate industry?
